Information Gathering
We collect information to provide better services to all of our users. We will only collect your personal information from you (i.e. not from any other person or source), by lawful and fair means and not in an unreasonable intrusive way. Maintaining privacy of your information is of great significance to us. Users who register are assumed to provide contact information, such as name, company name, company address, phone number, e-mail address, billing details and the number of users within the organization that will be using RepairDesk. We may also ask for additional information, such as job title or additional company information.

Login Credentials
Upon registration for RepairDesk, we will provide you with login credentials which will allow you to access our site and services. You are liable for the confidentiality and security of your user registration and password. In case your login details are compromised, you are supposed to contact RepairDesk immediately at [email protected].

Personal identification information
We may collect personal identification information from users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when users visit our site, register for an account on the website, place an order, fill out a form, respond to a survey, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, their name, email address, mailing address, phone number, etc. Users may, however, visit our site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except where it may prevent them from engaging in certain site-related activities.

Non-personal identification information
We may collect non-personal identification information about users whenever they interact with our site and services. Other Information we track and log
RepairDesk will be collecting certain information from users, such as Internet addresses. This information is logged to diagnose technical problems and to administer our website in order to constantly improve the quality of the service.

Edit your personal information
You can update or remove any or all of your personal information at any time by logging into your RepairDesk account and editing your personal information on the Store Settings page. You can view your updated profile in order to confirm that your edits have been made.

Use of your information
RepairDesk uses the information that we gather to set up the service for individuals and their organizations. We will use this information solely for fulfilling the purposes specified by us and for other compatible purposes. We will not distribute or share your personal information with third parties without your knowledge and consent, except under the following circumstances: (a) If you use an account or profile associated with another party, we may share your information with the owners of that profile (for example, if you are an employee using your Organization’s account or profile to communicate with us regarding our site and/or services), (b) With our corporate family of companies that are related by common ownership or control, to enable us to provide (or support us in providing) our services, (c) if RepairDesk is acquired by or merged with another company (in this event, RepairDesk will use reasonable efforts to notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy), (d) with Third Party Service Providers (defined below), (e) In response to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our rights to defend against legal claims, (f) If we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, safety of person or property, violation of our Terms and Conditions, or as otherwise required by law, (g)For any purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information, or (h) We may also share aggregated information (information about our users that we combine so that it no longer identifies or references an individual user) and other anonymized information for regulatory compliance, industry and market analysis, demographic profiling, marketing and advertising, and other business purposes.

Storage and transfer of data

RepairDesk may share personal data with third parties and vendors that act as agents, business partners, consultants, and contractors (“Third Party Service Providers”) to perform tasks on behalf of and under our instructions such as technical support, client education, billing, analytics, and communication. RepairDesk makes all efforts to pursue the standard security measures to help shield against the loss, exploitation, and alteration of the data we are in charge of. When our website is accessed, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology protects information using both server authentication and data encryption to help ensure that data is secure and accessible only to you. Our services are hosted in a secure cloud environment to prevent access from intruders. These safeguards ensure the proper use of data, avert unauthorized access, and keep up data accuracy.

RepairDesk uses cookies to recognize returning visitors. This helps us improve your user experience. We also use third party tools to better capture your navigation data and enhance your user experience of our website.
